David Scobie and his partner Brigitte were supremely successful in their native Zimbabwe and in neighboring South Africa. Times changed though and work became increasingly difficult to find, so they chose to return to the land of their parents to make a fresh start. In their luggage they had several master tapes, some of which were a unique mix of Scottish music, these were snapped up by a major recording label and their first album was released six months later. Their signature Scottish mix is a remarkable blend of traditional songs to African, Indian and European beats and is truly a milestone in the renaissance of Celtic music.A must for the connoisseur!
Fans of serious Scottish and world music will love this duo!
